Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of BetterWOD Timer (the iOS app, the Android app and the web timer) and of the BetterWOD Pro subscription. By creating an account or subscribing you accept them.

Who you are dealing with

The service

BetterWOD Timer lets you build workouts from timer blocks, run them with voice cues and keep results. The Free tier shows ads in the mobile apps and includes 8 block types. Pro removes ads, adds the Intervals, Rep & Rest and Ladder blocks, syncs workouts and results across devices and adds bonus voices. Feature lists and prices are shown at betterwod.com/pricing and in the App.

Pro subscription and prices

• Pro costs €5 per month or €50 per year, including VAT, and renews automatically until cancelled.
• New subscribers get a 7-day free trial; you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before that.
• On the web, purchases are made through our merchant of record, Fungies. Fungies sells the subscription to you, issues the invoice, collects VAT and handles the customer portal (invoices, payment method, cancellation).
• On iOS and Android the subscription is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms; billing, renewal and cancellation are managed in your store account.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

As an EU consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract. For purchases through Fungies you are asked at checkout to agree that the digital service starts immediately during the withdrawal period; you then acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. Store purchases follow Apple’s and Google’s refund rules. See the refund policy.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Web: Fungies customer portal (link in the App’s account screen). Mobile: App Store / Google Play subscriptions.

Your account and content

You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in e-mail. Workouts, results and notes you create remain yours; you grant us a licence to store and sync them to provide the service. You can delete your account at any time (how).

Acceptable use

Don’t attempt to break, reverse-engineer or overload the service, resell it, or use it for anything unlawful.

Health notice

The App is a timer. It gives no medical or training advice. Exercise at your own risk and consult a professional if in doubt.

Availability and liability

We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages; mandatory consumer rights under Czech and EU law are unaffected.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes are announced in the App at least 14 days ahead. Continued use after that date means acceptance.

Governing law and disputes

Czech law applies. Consumers may use the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz) for out-of-court dispute resolution or the EU ODR platform.
